Dr. M. V. Shetty Memorial Trust was instituted in memory of Dr. M.V. Shetty, M.S., FRCS, FRFPS(1917-1976) was an eminent Surgeon and Professor of Surgery. He was also a Commandant of Home Guards and Director of Lions Artificial Limb centre, Mangalore. Recognizing his meritorius service in the filed of health to the society, Dr. Shetty was awarded President's Gold Medal at the 28th Republic Day Celebrations. In his memory, the Dr. M.V. Shetty Memorial Trust (R) was founded in the year 1985 by his son Dr. M. Ramgopal Shetty, MS, FICS, FICA.,Vascular Surgeon, Mangalore. The Trust is dedicated in continuing the noble work started by the visionary to impart quality education in the field of health sciences and rendering health services to the needy people of the society.
General The pioneer institute in the field of nursing profession, established in 1987 in Mangalore, Karnataka, celebrated the inaugural function of Silver Jubilee celebrations at St Sebastian Jubilee Auditorium, Bendoor Well, Mangalore on 21-10-11.
General Theme of the Conference is - EVALUATION – A WORKING TOOL FOR PROFESSIONALISM - The proposed outcome of the conference is to promote competence in the participant knowledge of evaluation based on the different and challenging practice areas.
