MASLP-Important Information |
| There will be internal assessment marks allotted for all the theory papers, clinical practicum and dissertation. The marks for internal assessment shall be awarded on the basis of conducting seminars, clinical work, tests and assignments during the course of study. The internal assessment marks obtained by the candidate shall be notified on the college notice board for information of the students. |
Registering for the Examinations The candidate shall register for all the subjects of the semester when he/she appears for the examination of that semester for the 1st time. A candidate shall not be admitted to the practical examination for the 1st time unless he/she produces the class record duly certified by the head of the department in the subject concerned. | | Minimum for a pass No candidate to declare to have pass the examination of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th semester as the case may be unless he/she obtains 40% of marks in each theory paper and 40% in clinical work and 40% in practicals, 40% in the aggregate of theory/practical, clinical work and internal assessment put together. If a student fails in the clinical practicum he/she shall only have to take that examination. He/she does not have to attend the clinical work. |
A candidate who fails in the lower semester examinations may go to the higher semester and take the examination provided no candidate who fails in clinical work or practical examination in any semester will permitted to go the next semester.

Valuation of Answer Scripts
Each written paper shall be valued by one internal and one external examiner. If the difference in the marking between two valuations is more than 20% of the maximum marks, the register evaluation shall refer such answer scripts for the third valuation (Board Valuation) by the internal members of the board of examiners from among the approved penal of examiners. In all cases involving either two or three valuation and average of the valuations shall be taken for declaring the results

Classification of Successful Candidates
The results of successful candidates at the end of fourth semester shall be classified on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in all the four semesters (aggregate of internal assessment, theory, clinical practical and viva-voce marks.
The results of candidates who have passed the fourth semester examination but not pass the lower semester examinations shall be declared as NCL (not completed lower semester examinations) such candidate shall be eligible for the degrees only after completion of all the lower semester examination.

A candidate who fails in one or more papers of a semester may be permitted to reject the results of whole examination of that semester. Rejection of result paper – wise shall not be permitted. A candidate who rejects the results shall appear for the examination of that semester in the subsequent examination.
