| The morning chill made no difference to a large number of Physio’s from Dr M.V.Shetty college of Physiotherapy who turned up to participate in the Vijaya Bank Half-marathon, a sports event organized by the Dakshina Kannada district administration. The event kicked-off on Sunday February 20. |

| The participation of Physio’s was not only restricted to participation but also helped with man power in the form of registration desks, and also with aided support from Dr M.Ramgopal Shetty. |

| The event was graced by the legend herself P.T Usha, golden girls of Indian athletics Vandana Rao, Vandana Shambaug, Puvamma and also a host of the top brass of the district administration lead the District Commisoner himself Shri Subodh Yadav. |
