Dr M.V.Shetty Memorial trust colleges organised the 16th Dr M.V.Shetty Inter Physiotherapy college cricket Tournament for Men and Women on 10th and 11the Dec NMPT ground , Panambur Mangalore.Dr M.Ramgopal Shetty, Founder Secretary Dr. M.V.Shetty Memorial trust presided over the function , while Mr J.Partha Sarthi Palemar, CEO Vikas group , was the guest of honor for the inaugural function. The tournament the participation of 11 mens team and 8 womens physiotherapy teams in and around Mangalore.
The award ceremony was held on 11the Dec .Prof B.V Kathyayani, Principal Dr M.V.Shetty College of Nursing was the Guest of honor along with Mr J.Partha Sarthi Palemar. In the womens event, Vikas college of Physiotherapy were the runners up while Dr M.V.Shetty college of Physiotherapy walked away as the womens Champions.Prof B.V.Kathyayani presented the trophy to the winners.
In the mens fixtures, Vikas college of Physiotherapy were the runners up while Shree Devi College of Physiotherapy walked away as the champions. Amir from Shree Devi college was adjudged the Man of the tournament while Maria from Dr M.V.Shetty college of Physiotherapy was adjudged woman of the tournament.
