Department of Child Health Nursing
PHILOSOPHY:-
The child health nursing department believes in development of student to understand the modern concept of child care, developing in-depth understanding of neonate and childhood problem including their management. The department also focuses on the wellbeing of the child as a “whole” in providing care.
  • AIM:-
  • The child health nursing departments aims to-
  • Develop competencies among students and in-depth knowledge in the field of child health nursing.
  • Mould the students in such a way that they are able to work as an educator, manager and researcher.

OBJECTIVES:-
  • To provide the student with the essential knowledge in the field of child health nursing.
  • Approach the child as a holistic individual.
  • To prepare nurses to meet emerging needs of the country in the field of child health care.
  • To establish collaborative relationship with members of other disciplines.
  • To enable the students to practice in various setting in the field of child health nursing.
